News!
7.1.23 - Wow, it's been a good long while since I've done anything here. Sorry, life (wife, job, kids) took precedence for a while, then I got out of the habit of writing. But that's going to change soon. I've picked back up where I left off on the first book of the second trilogy (over halfway done) and we'll see how long it takes to finish it off and drive on to the next one. Never fear, I've been accumulating ideas this whole time - this series is always percolating somewhere in my brain.
4.8.15 - A new feature has been added to the website. Check out the new item on the menu: The Music. It's a list of the songs that have inspired specific scenes in the Pandemonium War, including several that tease future scenes throughout the rest of the series.
8.3.14 - Satan's Gambit is now available on Amazon. Click HERE to purchase.
7.30.14 - Argh. Sorry, life gets in the way. Things have been pretty hectic for a while, but at long last I'm putting the finishing touches on Satan's Gambit and updating the website. You'll see a few new menu items (from the two new appendixes from Book 3) available in the meantime, and in just a few days I'll have it uploaded to Amazon and ready to go.
6.11.14 - I apologize for the delay. I'm working on the final changes to Book 3 and its appendices, then it's off for copyright submission. Assuming nothing strange happens, it should be ready and available sometime this month.
4.3.14 - The cover art for Satan's Gambit has been posted on Facebook. I highly recommend you go check it out (and if you haven't already "Liked" this, please do). Publication date hasn't been finalized, I'm waiting on some feedback from a couple early readers. I'll post here and on Facebook when I have more info. Soon!
2.2.14 - The prologue for Book 3 Satan's Gambit has been posted. Go to "The Books" and find the link to sneak a peek at the final installment of "The Barrier War" trilogy.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
8.13.13 - There are a few formatting issues that cropped up that weren't there on the Amazon previewer, so some things look a little off on the iPhone Kindle app (paragraph spacing, left-justified titles, etc) and some paragraph/section spacing didn't end up the way I wanted it. I'll try to have all of those fixed tonight and publish an updated version ASAP. If you already have your copy and that sort of thing bothers you, give it a couple days and Amazon will give you the option of updating your downloaded version.
8.12.13 - The Devil's Deuce hits Amazon.com at midnight TONIGHT!!! (Allowing for Amazon's upload and conversion availability, of course.) If you enjoyed Book 1, you're going to love this one. Tell your friends, and keep spreading the word! Click HERE to buy it on Amazon.com.
6.4.13 - New Cover Art!! The cover for Book 2 is finished and is visible on the Pandemonium War Facebook page. Go check it out. And as you might have guessed, I'm gearing up for publication of Book 2, tentatively scheduled for somewhere in late July or early August.
1.31.13 - Based on early sales, there's officially enough to cover the costs of artwork for the next book, so let me offer a resounding and heartfelt "Thank You" to everyone who's helped get it this far. I'm currently editing and reviewing Book 2 in earnest, and over the next couple months I'll be working toward getting it ready for publication.
With that in mind, the draft prologue of Book 2 has been posted on this site. Go to "The Books" and look for the link there, if you're interested.

12.21.12 - So far no Mayan apocalypse. In other news, the author's notes for each chapter are now complete. If you're interested in a behind-the-scenes look at the story, go to "The Book" menu and select the Author's Notes link next to Hunting The Three. You can read it as a companion piece as you go through the book, or come back later and get a glimpse into what you just finished.
12.12.12 - Publication Date! It's been a long time coming. I started writing Hunting The Three my sophomore year of college, which was.... oh, last century. I set another book I was writing aside after I read Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics, which gave me a basis for a system of virtues for what would ultimately become my own class of holy warriors. For no apparent reason it combined with a memory of a picture from an old D&D manual - "A Paladin in Hell". The picture has absolutely nothing to do with anything I wrote beyond the thoughts the image sparked. A lone man, a holy warrior, in the depths of Hell itself, surrounded by demons. Why was he there? Why is one man, even a warrior backed by God's power, alone in Hell fighting its minions? There can be only one ending to that situation. (This was before Diablo 2, when the idea of a paladin alone in Hell just meant you weren't playing online with friends.) That picture has been stuck in my head for over two decades, and this is the first step in telling the story it evoked.
